The Albacore (Thunnus alalunga) tuna fish in olive oil, also known as white tuna in Italy. It has a softer texture, a milder, more delicate flavour and is higher in the beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids than regular tuna.

Uses
Like regular tuna, it is perfect for sandwich fillings, garnishing salads and in sauces to accompany pasta, to name but a few ideas… Excellent with avocado. For example, try using it to stuff large tomatoes together with avocado, chopped celery, mayonnaise, olives and seasoning, such as cumin and chilli powder or to make a delicious salad with the addition of apple, carrots and red onion on a bed of lettuce.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool dry place, away from heat sources. Once opened, ensure that the product is covered in oil, top up if necessary, and keep refrigerated (+4°C). Consume within 3 days.
